How I can help

Therapy can help you if you find yourself in a particularly difficult time in your life. The first step is talking about it

What I can help with

I work with clients who have struggled with a variety of problems, conditions and concerns. From depression, stress and anxiety to addiction, phobias and trauma. I have particular expertise in long-term illness, depression, trauma and addictions.

By understanding what's going on in your life, where your emotional needs are not being met and what you want to achieve, we can work together using proven tools and techniques that not only help to resolve your problems, but equip you for the future. If you feel 'lost' and don't know what you want, we can work through that as well so you have at least one clear goal to work towards.

Whilst not exhaustive, problems may include:

  • Addiction in all forms (including family members supporting those with addictive behaviours)

  • Anger

  • Anxiety

  • Bereavement

  • Depression

  • Fears

  • How to manage your mental health as a carer

  • Improving relationships

  • Issues arising from the impact of cancer and serious illness

  • Lack of confidence

  • Life crises/life events

  • Low self-esteem

  • Obsessions (OCD)

  • Panic attacks

  • Phobias

  • PTSD

  • Stress

  • Trauma

  • Workplace stress, anxiety or bullying, building resilience and confidence

What to do next?

The first step is to have an informal chat. Sometimes that feels like a huge step, but it's confidential and you only talk about the things you want to share. It's really important that you feel comfortable with me, so once we've had a chat you can decide whether you'd like to organise the next session or not - it's completely in your control, there's no obligation.

So, if you would like to have an initial chat about anything troubling you please get in touch on 07753 750619 or email
